WORKING DURING COVID-19
Safety of our clients, photographers and crew is one of our highest priorities at Emissary. During this time, our artists are offering to shoot remotely and taking additional precautions to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Below are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.
What are your remote capabilities?
Our artists shooting both in studio or on location are able to shoot remotely. Group video conferencing can be used for client and agency feedback and art direction. Images can also be monitored via a screenshare service and images will be uploaded for delivery.
What kind of crew is needed?
Our artists are currently working with very minimal crews and are taking additional precautions making sure they are healthy upon starting the job.
What are the limitations on using talent?
Many of our artists have a good pool of family and friends who can be used as talent as long as they know they are healthy and symptom free. We also have production resources we can call on to find talent if the need should arise. We can ask talent to provide their own wardrobe.
Is equipment available?
Equipment is available should our artists need to rent anything outside of their normal gear. They are taking additional measures to make sure equipment is sanitized during shoots.
What are your studio capabilities?
Most of our artists have areas in their homes that can be set up for studio shoots. Some are able to shoot and style food and are also able to shoot product photography.
What are your location shoot capabilities?
Photographers are willing and have capabilities to shoot on location, but it is dependent on current Social Distancing Guidelines and Stay at Home Orders.
Do your artists have stock images available to license?
Yes! All of our artists have a variety of images available for licensing. We also have artists that are willing to shoot on spec for stock purchase. If you have a specific need, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Outside of your roster, do you have any additional resources?
In an effort to do whatever we can to help our agency producers and clients during this unprecedented time, we have been reaching out to others in our industry to help in whatever way we can to sustain the community. If you have a specific project and need help finding photographers, directors or production resources, please let us know!
